40th BCGWA 2010 CONVENTION
We are pleased to announce that the “40th” B. C. Ground Water Association will be holding their 2010 Convention and Manufacturers and Suppliers Trade Show at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort and Conference Centre, 1310 Water Street, Kelowna B.C. from March 17th-18th, 2010.

Convention Information
Extra workshops will be held on March 15th – 16th and the AGM is scheduled for March 19th, 2010. The BCGWA represents the Groundwater, the Geotechnical and Environmental and the Geo-Exchange drilling industries.
We have reserved the ballroom for display booths, which will allow for 29 booths. These booths will be available on a first come first serve basis at a cost of $705.00 plus GST and will include 1 full registration. You must be a member of the CGWA in order to reserve a booth. The price includes:
- 1 – 10’ x 8’ pipe and drape booth space
- 1 – 6’skirted table
- 2 - chairs
- 1 – 120v 750 watt electrical outlet
- registration fee for one person to the convention (does not include workshops or Thursday Banquet & Speaker)
Wednesday evening in the trade show area will be a fun evening with a wine/beer reception, light dinner and entertainment. The Trade Show hours are as follows:
- Wednesday, March 17th 7:00 am to 11:00 am Move in/set up
- Wednesday, March 17th 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm Trade Show opens
- Wednesday, March 17th 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm Trade Show re-opens
- Thursday, March 18th 8:00 am to 9:00 am Continental breakfast
- Thursday, March 18th 9:00 am to 12:00 pm Trade show opens
- Thursday, March 18th 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Tear down/Move out
As this is the Association’s 40th convention, we are looking for memorabilia from the last 40 years. If you have any pictures or stories, please send them to the office by January 15th. Maybe this theme could also reflect in your booth set up.
